AUTO TECHNICIAN INTERNATIONAL STANDARD CAREER CERTIFICATION (ATIS)
ENTRY FORMS: N5000 DURATION: 1 YEAR COST: N650,000.00 (PAYABLE IN TWO INSTALLMENTS) LECTURES: FULL-TIME CLASSES (MON-FRI) 9 AM TO 4 PM (NO PART-TIME STUDIES/NO ONLINE CLASSES) CLASS LIMITATION: 10 STUDENTS PER SESSION
We adhere to a maximum of 10 students per class each year to enable us to concentrate on individual potentials. This has enabled us to graduate the best students in the field. ATIS ENTRY EXAMS Students with successful application forms will be required to undertake the entry exams at the school premises in Lekki Phase 1,
Lagos, Nigeria. PASSMARK OF AT LEAST 50% IS REQUIRED FOR ENTRY Duration of training: 1 YEAR NOTE: 95% Attendance is Required for Graduation Location: Lekki Phase1, Lagos-Nigeria 9 months of classroom and theory work (30%) and 70% daily workshop training.
The final 3 months are for full workshop industrial attachment.
ATIS COURSE OBJECTIVES After a 5-month integrated general class as described in our FND course above, each student will hold a special session with a course adviser to major in any of the following technical professions below:
Auto Engine/Powertrain Technician
Agricultural Mechatronics Technician
Auto Electrical Technician
Auto AC/HVAC Technician
Auto Chassis/Suspension Technician
Alternative Fuel/CNG/LNG Technician
Auto Tuning and Mods
ATIS training is fully onsite, Electude online training is only available as extra training resource for ATIS students on request. Extra fees will be required for subscription.
General classes will resume after the career focus induction class, which will give all students full in-depth knowledge of all the professions above. Individual assignees will be trained and supervised separately with 30% daily professional studies in their area of specialization and 70% workshop activity in their area of interest.
Each student will be presented with an advanced study syllabus based on their area of study. Certification will be strictly based on: Attendance (95% required) Assignments (90% required) Project Work (90% required) Daily Problem Tasks (90% required)
Graduating students will be set to tackle any situation related to their field of study at Auto Technician International standards.
3 CERTIFICATES WILL BE AWARDED TO ATIS GRADUATES
1: Certificate of Lagos State Vocational Study Completion
2: NIATEC ATIS Certificate
3: Affiliated International Online Mechanic Course Certification
Graduating students with a pass mark of over 95% will be given an option of working with the Range Rover Doctor workshop, NIATEC, and other affiliate workshops in Nigeria.
ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES Accommodation for the course duration is available not too far from the school. Transport costs to school are minimal and can be discussed with the Head of Department (08118888969). Transportation means can be students’ vehicles, public transport, bicycles, or personally arranged car hire services. The hostel is comfortable and serviced with room cleaning and facility management services. Extra special screening is required for accommodation approval.
